Graft harvesting
After sterile preparation and local anesthesia, small tissue grafts are taken from the treatment area.
Micronization
The grafts are optionally mixed with physiological saline or PRP and passed 51 times through the 600 μm Microlyzer.

Exomed D™ Treatment Procedure
1. Consultation & Indication
Before every treatment, a detailed medical consultation takes place. During this consultation, the skin condition, treatment goals, and individual prerequisites are assessed. Together, it is determined whether Micro-Graft™ therapy is suitable for the desired indication.
2. Preparation
The treatment area is prepared sterilely. This is followed by local anesthesia to make the procedure as comfortable as possible for the patient.
3. Graft harvesting
Small autologous tissue grafts are harvested from a suitable donor site. The harvested tissue forms the basis for highly viable cell suspensions.
4. Micronization – Cell Release with Microlyzer 600 μm
The extracted grafts are optionally mixed with physiological saline solution or PRP and then passed through the Microlyzer 600 μm 51 times.
Thanks to the specially developed Micro-Graft™ technology:
- tissue structures are broken down at the micro-level
- cells are efficiently released
- cell count and viability are maximally preserved
The result is a highly biologically active cell suspension.
5. Filtration – Microlyzer 150 µm
For further optimization, the suspension is passed once through the Microlyzer 150 μm.
This process:
- removes fibrotic and undesirable tissue components
- creates a homogeneous, finely filtered suspension
- enables safe and precise injection
6. Injection & Application
The processed cell suspension is injected precisely into the area to be treated. Depending on the indication, the application is intradermal or subdermal.
The treatment usually lasts approximately 45–90 minutes, depending on the size of the area.
7. Follow-up Care
- Slight redness or swelling is possible and usually subsides within a few days.
- Social activities can usually be resumed quickly.
- Individual follow-up appointments are recommended.
