Microlyzer Blade Technology
The 600 µm Microlyzer uses specially developed micro-blades that specifically apply mechanical stress to blood cells. This controlled process leads to the release of billions of extracellular vesicles and at the same time contributes significantly to platelet activation. This precise technology creates highly effective exosome-rich plasma – the basis of Exomed-X™ therapy.
Highest vesicle density with exomed-X™
Through comprehensive device and protocol studies, Exomed-X™ achieves an exceptionally high vesicle concentration of approximately 35–40 billion vesicles per mL. With a final volume of around 5 cc, the system thus delivers an industry-leading total of 120–150 billion vesicles on average.
Exosome Criteria
For vesicles to be defined as exosomes, they must:
- be between 30–150 nm in size
- be characterized by relevant CD markers
exhibit high viability

Independent laboratory results confirm that the Exomed-X™ Kit yields an average of 40.5 × 10⁹ vesicles per mL and an average vesicle size of 116.6 nm.
Analyses of the relevant CD markers show that 98% of the vesicles are exosomal and exhibit 99% viability.
