Product Description
Oligomeric proanthocyanidins are abundant in grape seeds and belong to the secondary plant compounds, more precisely to the polyphenols. Their health benefits are evident in their function for the plant. Wherever the plant protects itself against viruses, bacteria, fungi, or against the oxidation of fatty acids in oil-rich grape seeds, it builds up protective substances from polyphenols. Acerola cherry has a high vitamin C content and thus also contributes to protecting cells from oxidative stress. Vitamin C additionally supports the immune system and collagen formation for normal blood vessel function.
